The Line Mountain Odyssey of the Mind Boosters is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping our students build creativity, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving skills. Through fundraising, volunteer support, and community partnerships, we help to ensure every team has the resources needed to compete and succeed.
What is Odyssey of the Mind?
Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving program where students work together to solve unique challenges that combine engineering, science, technology, theater, art, and teamwork. Teams spend months developing original solutions before presenting them in regional, state, and international competitions.
Odyssey of the Mind (OM) programs are built with creativity front and center. We focus on taking risks – we aren’t looking for the “ordinary”solution to a problem. We want our students to push well beyond their limits, do deliver solutions that have never been thought of before, and to know that IT’S OKAY TO FAIL! No great problems were ever solved, no great systems ever designed without countless failures ahead of the success!
